Remembering fashion designer Jeffrey Rogador

Announced Tuesday, December 1, 2020, street style fashion designer Jeffrey “JR” Rogador passed away at the age of 42. The full details of the designer’s passing has yet to be confirmed by close friends and family members.

Garage Magazine, a publication under The Manila Bulletin, has been a longtime collaborator of the designer. In 2016, his “Prints and Patterns” pieces appeared on the cover worn by actors David Licauco, Gil Cuerva, Daniel Velasco, and Erie Obsena.

One of Rogador's early design showcases was during his college years as a fine arts student at the University of Sto. Tomas. He designed dance costumes for the Salinggawi Dance Troupe which he was a part of.

The fashion designer also engaged in collaborations with fashion brands Levi’s and Jag, as well as with Binibining Pilipinas, Girbaud, Converse, Folded & Hung, and many more.

Season after season, Rogador presented his collections on the catwalks of Philippine Fashion Week, where he displayed his skills as an urban streetwear designer.
