Kapamilya forever: Stars renew management contract with Star Magic

Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu, Jane de Leon, Robi Domingo, Kira Balinger, Joseph Marco, Andrea Brillantes, Enchong Dee, and JM de Guzman renewed their management contract with Star Magic on Friday, December 4.

"Ang dami kong gustong ipagpasalamat. Noong nasa bahay ako, I realized, if not for ABS-CBN, wala akong ganitong bahay. And then yung mga kapatid ko, okay naman sila. Yung iba may pamilya na. So nangyari ang mga magagandang bagay na ito dahil sa ABS-CBN," said Kim Chiu during an interview after she signed the contract.

Kim is set to appear in the ABS-CBN original series “Bawal Lumabas” which will premiere on the iWantTFC streaming service Dec. 14.

Jane de Leon said that she is happy that "Darna" will be flying soon on television.

"Akala ko hindi na matutuloy pero matutuloy na rin finally. Noon talaga ang dasal ko lang is kung hindi para sa akin salamat pa rin. Pero grateful ako sa mga boss ng ABS CBN," De Leon said.

But before "Darna," De Leon said that she will do another project and taping will start on Dec. 8. "Na-excite talaga ako sa project na ito."

Marco said that he is excited for his two movies in the virtual 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival: "Isa Pang Bahaghari" and "Fan Girl."

"Magkaiba sila ng genre. Virtual ang MMFF this year but the good thing is mapapanood na ito ng buong mundo," he said.

Brillantes said that she missed doing press conferences prior to the pandemic. "Na-miss ko talaga ang mga ganito. Sana matapos na ang pandemya."

"Iba ang feeling ngayon mas overwhelming. And yung spirits ng mga tao sa paligid mo sobrang taas," said De Guzman when asked about his feeling after renewing his contract.
