Park Shin Hye returns to the small screen in action series Sisyphus: The Myth
By Angie Chui

Park Shin Hye has been relatively quiet this year on the small screen, but only because she has been busy filming horror movies.
This year, the actress released back to back horror films #ALIVE, and The Call which were both shown on Netflix.
In 2021, she is set to return to the Kdrama front. The popular Korean actress revealed the trailer for her upcoming project, and this time around, she plans to showcase her potential as an action star.
The trailer for Sisyphus: The Myth was recently revealed by JTBC and it promises to be a bug budget action spectacular complete with legit action scenes, gunfights, explosions and suspense. It will indeed be a far cry from Park Shin Hye’s previous projects.
Sisyphus: The Myth has a very Terminator-like vibe as the story revolves around a genius engineer named Han Tae Sool (Cho Seung Woo). In his timeline, he successfully builds Quantum and Time Company and gains a reputation as a local hero. However, behind his genius are secrets.
Kang Seo Hae (Park Shin Hye) is an elite warrior from the future who comes back in time to save Tae Sool.
The trailer implies that Tae Sool is instrumental in saving the world with his invention. It also implies that something went wrong the first time around which compelled Seo Hae to come back to change the past.
The drama, which is set for release on February 2021, will air on JTBC on the timeslot currently being occupied by Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung’s Run On.
