Fajardo is living the simple and happy provincial life

After a week of binge streaming and continuous workouts, June Mar Fajardo took a breather and returned to his hometown Cebu for a change of scenery amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In just four days, Fajardo has already uploaded eight videos on his YouTube and gaming channel AHOS gaming since visiting his province last Nov. 29.

The six-time PBA Most Valuable Player didn't need much editing in his vlogs. With minimal transitions and clips, being the gentle giant he is, Fajardo shared to his followers the simple life he's in while in the province.

In one of the videos, the 6-foot-10 San Miguel center stepped on the pedal and took a biking tour around the neighborhood with a friend and brother Jay, greeting some passersby in between.

Another clip also showed Fajardo filming his brother having a shootaround with a bunch of children at a covered basketball court.

On Wednesday, the Fajardo family gathered and celebrated the 52nd birthday of  Marites, June Mar's mother, over cakes and roasted chickens fresh off their poultry in Compostela.

The following day, the eight-time PBA champion continued getting back and shape and worked out for 15 minutes as he recovers from a shin injury since February.

This is the first time the Cebuano cager came back to Cebu since January before suffering the injury during practice the following month.

Just last month, on his downtime while recovering, the 31-year-old Fajardo turned to gaming and launched a stream-for-a-cause fundraiser for the victims of typhoons "Rolly" and "Ulysses" that wreaked havoc in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Meanwhile, SMB coach Leo Austria hinted at the possibility of a major roster change as the Beermen's Philippine Cup dynasty came to an end after a 90-68 rout by the Meralco Bolts at the Angeles University Foundation Arena in Clark, Pampanga last Nov. 15
