Jessie J reveals experiencing hearing loss

English singer-songwriter Jessie J, known for such hits as "Price Tag" and "Bang Bang," revealed on social media recently that she is currently recovering from Meniere's disease.

She discussed the matter in a video she posted on Instagram.

"I woke up (day before Christmas Eve) basically what felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear," Jessie related.

"(I) couldn't walk in a straight line... but I got told I have Meniere’s syndrome.

"I know that a lot of people suffer with it and I've actually had a lot of people reach out to me and, like, give me great advice," she added.

Making sure fans wouldn't panic, she assured she has sought medical treatment and is "feeling much better."

"I'm fine, though, no, I'm good. Everyone is like, 'I'm so sorry.' It's fine. It could be way worse. It is what it is," Jessie said.

"It just threw me off. Like, on Christmas Eve, I was literally in the ear hospital, like, going, 'What is going on?' but I'm grateful that I went early and, you know, they worked out what it was real quick," she added.
