Video in social media was on PMA mistah's b-day party in Jan. 2020 -- PNP Chief Sinas
General Debold Sinas, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), denied on Monday that he figured in another controversial violation of quarantine protocols for the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

While he admitted that the circulating video in the social media was a gathering, he said that it happened in January or more than two months before the lockdown measures were implemented in Luzon.
“That is fake news. I have seen the video and I know that it was the retirement of my classmate,” said Sinas, a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1987.
He said the gathering occurred in Tuguegarao City.
“It was retirement. It was not a Christmas party as what they have been claiming. Maybe there are some people who have nothing to do in life,” said Sinas.
Sinas was viciously criticized in the social media over his birthday party in May this year when he was still the Metro Manila police chief. The incident is now notoriously referred to as mañnita.
