“I named this photo ‘The Farmer’ because what I see is a ‘salakot’ (hat) used by farmers to protect them from the heat of the sun. I tried this water droplet photography during the lockdown because I can’t go out to take pictures in some places so I came up with this. I was amazed by how water reacts by itself. Using a zoom lens and with the right focus, different details popped and surprised me. With a good interpretation and/or representation, you can turn a photo into art.” – Christian Basa (Dublin, Ireland)
