Father nabbed for alleged sexual abuse of 4-yr-old daughter

PANGASINAN – A 39-year-old father was arrested on Christmas eve by the police who responded to information that he was sexually abusing his four-year-old daughter in Barangay Gayaman in Binmaley town here.

Taken into police custody was Ramon Pimentel Esguerra, a construction worker.

He was arrested at 3 a.m. on December 24 after the local police received a report that he was sexually abusing his four-year-old daughter, according to the Police Regional Office-1 (PRO-1) here.

During a body search, police were able to seize from him two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of 0.147 grams and Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P1,000.

Relatives reported to the police what Esguerra had been doing to his daughter. The child’s mother is currently working in Dubai.

The child was reportedly left traumatized, and has been subjected to counseling by the municipal social welfare office. She is now in the custody of her aunt.
