Actress-model Ivana Alawi has recalled her humble beginnings which involved Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes.

"Guys may kwento ako. Dati si Mama -- kasi akala nila lagi tayong mayamanâ€¦ Sa Bahrain umalis siya tas pumunta siya sa Pilipinas and then sabi ng tatay ko kapag umuwi ka, hindi siya susuportahan -- si Mama," Ivana started.

Ivana, 23, said that her mom, Fatima, actually worked hard, doing different side jobs from manicure and pedicure home services, hair rebounding, as well as washing cars and jeeps.

The social media sensation recalled that she would join her mother and they would also receive snacks.

"Sinama kita du'n sa bahay nila Dingdong (Dantes)?" Fatima told Ivana. "Ngayon magka-management na kami ni Kuya Dingdong! Shoutout nga pala sa pamilya mo na mina-manicure-an ni Mama!"

Ivana and Dingdong belong to the same talent manager Perry Lansigan.

"Hindi nakakahiya 'yun. 'Pag makikita mo 'yung sarili mo kung nasaan ka ngayon, 'di ba nakaka-bless? God is good talagaâ€¦ 'Yung gulong umiikot. Kayo, kahit ngayon nasa baba kayo malay niyo bukas gumulong, oh 'di ba kayo naman nasa ibabaw. 'Wag kayong mag yayabang -- 'yan pinaka secret," Fatima said. "Kaya nga kayo guys mangarap kayo, taasan niyo na. Samahan niyo ng dasal!"
