Is Janella Salvador pregnant? Marlo Mortel gives his honest reaction

Kapamilya star Marlo Mortel has said that he is happy for his best friend Janella Salvador and her boyfriend Markus Paterson who are now spending the holidays in London. 

Asked if he believes his best friend Janella is pregnant, Marlo said: "Ang dami ng nagtatanong sa akin niyan. Pag true friends kayo siguro, you respect each other's trust. Iniiwasan ko talagang mag-comment tungkol diyan."

Both Marlo and Janella were co-stars in the blockbuster morning serye "Be Careful With My Heart" starring Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria.

When asked if he would like to be the father of Janella's baby, Marlo answered: "hahaha! Never nga kami nagkaroon ng kissing scene sa 'Be Careful' so paano ko siya mabubuntis. hahaha! Okay lang naman na single ako ngayon. Masaya ako for her." 

Marlo, one of the stars of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 movie "Father Suarez: The Healing Priest," said that he is too busy to focus on lovelife these days.

During an interview in Quezon City recently, Marlo recalled his humble beginnings in show business.

"Gusto ko talagang maging singer noon so sumali ako sa 'X-Factor' pero hindi ako nakapasok;

"Nag-away kami talaga ni Kuya Germs kasi umalis ako sa 'Walang Tulugan' para lang sumali sa 'X-Factor.' May teleserye kasi ako at may shooting the next day pero hindi ako sumipot doon kasi nga nakita ko yung 'X-Factor.' Naniniwala talaga kasi ako na makakapasok ako (sa X-Factor);

"After eight months, ang tagal pala magsimula nun. Hanggang boot camp lang pala ako. Nag-Starstruck na ako, sumali na rin ako sa The Next Big Star pero hindi ako nakapasok;

"Nag-decide asko na mag-aaral na lang ako. Fourth year ako noon sa San Beda Alabang taking up business management;

"May girlfriend ako nuon sinsundo ko sa ABS-CBN. Nakita nila ako at pinag-audition nila ako bilang seaman pero hindi pa rin ako nakapasok;

"After two weeks, kinontak na naman nila ako at naghahanap sila na gaganap bilang classmate ni Jerome Ponce. Nakuha na ako at ang talent fee ko ay P2,000 per taping. Hanggang sa nagkaroon na ako ng script at nag-acting workshop na ako. Yung 2K naging 4K. hahaha! Then binigyan nilagay na ako sa Star Magic. In God's perfect time talaga ang lahat."
