Alongside official posts regarding San Juan, Mayor Francis Zamora cannot help but show how proud he is of his family on social media. In his latest Instagram post, Mayor Zamora congratulates his only daughter Amanda, 19, for garnering enough votes to enter Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) as a housemate.

"Congratulations Amanda for making it to Pinoy Big Brother's Bahay ni Kuya," writes Mayor Zamora. "You have finally reached your dream! Do your best inside! We will be watching you every day. To everyone who supported my dearest daughter, thank you very much!"

One of the biggest twists of the latest season of PBB is the KUMUnity Housemate Selection. Although the season premiered on Dec. 6, the last three official housemates were not yet chosen. Instead, a contest was held where housemate hopefuls had to get the most views from the public in order to be selected.

By the end of the contest period, Amanda did not just make it to the top three, she swept away the competition with 71.81 million views, almost 30 million ahead of second place and 70 million ahead of third.

According to mom Keri Zamora, it has been Amanda's dream to join PBB ever since she was 13 years old. In an Instagram post, the mother of four recalls how three years ago she was hesitant when her daughter lined up at five a.m. to audition. While Amanda did not make the cut then, she continued to persevere.

"Like her dad," Keri writes, "she never stops."

"I am so happy and proud of you," she adds in a separate Instagram post. "Congratulations! Your hard work and dedication through the years have truly paid off. Continue to strive for your dreams and be an inspiration to many. Dad and I will always be rooting for you. We love you."

Even before this latest achievement, Amanda was already making a name for herself in the modeling industry. She has walked the Red Charity Gala runway, has been featured in countless fashion magazines, and was even part of a campaign for local fashion brand Bench.

With a stellar performance in the selection contest, it is without a doubt that Amanda will be a favorite when she enters the house in January.
