Maine Mendoza denies sex scandal video, talent manager warns netizens on cybercrime law

Actress Maine Mendoza has denied that she is in a scandal video which circulated online.

"Wtf???? Sobrang kamukha ko kinilabutan ako pero hindi ako to!" reacted Maine, as one of her fans encouraged her to report the malicious post.

Rams David, talent manager of Maine, also warned the people who are circulating the video about cybercrime law.

Offenses under cybercrime law include cybersquatting, cybersex, child pornography, identity theft, illegal access to data and libel, among other legal issues concerning online interactions and the Internet.

Most of Maine's fans expressed outrage about it, advising the manager to not just warn the public but instead sue them right away. Fans claimed that the celebrity's reputation is in danger because of the alleged video scandal.
