Catriona Gray says she misses family 'terribly'

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is in the US to celebrate the holidays as she admits that she misses her family terribly and she couldn't be with them due to travel restrictions.

On Instagram Dec. 23, Catriona said that she's hopeful "we'll all be together again." Her parents Normita Magnayon and Ian Gray are based in Canada.

"Goodmorning ?? and goodnight Manila! ? fighting jetlag this whole week with coffee…what's new? ☕

"Christmas is almost here! How are you all celebrating Christmas during this "new normal"? ? 

"I'm missing my family terribly and unfortunately wasn't able to go home to them because of travel restrictions, but I'm grateful to be spending it with a new family. 

"I know alot of us are in the same position, away and missing our families and loved ones. Just want you to know, even though it may feel like it, you're not alone this Christmas. 

"And soon enough, we'll all be together again. Sending you all big, big (cyber) hugs!! ❤
