DAVAO CITY - The Davao City Police Office on Tuesday apprehended 14 personnel of the City Engineering Office in Barangay Ma-a here for violating the liquor ban.
In a police report shared by the City Information Office, DCPO said "about 3:45 PM on December 22, DCPO PS3 (Police Station 3) conducted (an) operation on the enforcement of the liquor ban inside the motor pool of City Engineering Office" in the said barangay.
The operation resulted in the apprehension of 14 CEO personnel who were drinking inside the compound.
The city government reimposed the ban on the drinking and selling of liquor and other alcoholic beverages on November 2. The liquor ban is effective until December 31.
