Nuezca's offenses were outside Jesse Robredo's time -- VP Leni
Vice President Leni Robredo on Tuesday vehemently denied false claims her late husband, Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo did nothing about the administrative cases faced by a policeman before the shooting incident in Tarlac.

Authorities revealed Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca figured in homicide, grave misconduct, and serious neglect of duty cases as early as 2010 prior to his killing of Sonya and Frank Gregorio in Paniqui, Tarlac, last Sunday.
In a post on her social media accounts, Robredo attached photos of the online posts where her detractors alleged Nuezca committed some of the wrongdoings when Jesse headed the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and National Police Commission (Napolcom) and he did not act on it.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) is an attached agency of the DILG while Napolcom is in charge of police policy matters, including discipline of policemen.
“False. My husband assumed office July 2010 & died Aug 2012,” the vice president wrote.
Robredo said these were merely fake news to mislead people because “none of his cases were pending or were committed” during her husband’s term.
Based on the list of Nuezca’s administrative cases released by PNP, two of them involved separate homicide cases last year.
The others were grave misconduct and serious neglect of duty in previous years. From February 19-28, 2010, he was suspended for 10 days.
Robredo earlier questioned why Nuezca was still allowed to perform his duty despite these offenses he committed in the past.
