Duterte names 3 new CA justices

President Duterte has appointed three Court of Appeals (CA) associate justices.

Appointed were Anisah B. Amodin Umpa, Bautista Gler Corpin Jr., and Roberto Patdu Quiroz.

While their appointments were signed by the President last April 13, the transmittal letters sent to Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea were received only last Tuesday.

Umpa took the CA post vacated by Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul B. Inting who was promoted to the Supreme Court (SC).

Corpin and Quiroz were the replacements to retired CA Associate Justice Carmelita S. Manahan and the late retired Associate Justice Normandie B. Pizarro, respectively.
