WATCH: Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli decorate Christmas tree in their new home

Few days before Christmas, celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli shared some details on how they will celebrate the holidays together for the first time.

As seen on video for a supermarket chain, the two decorated their Christmas tree using different ornaments ranging from red, gold, and green Christmas balls.

Matteo said that Christmas 2020 is "very special" for both of them because it's the first time they will be spending the holidays as husband and wife.

"…as two people together, forever!" Matteo added.

In February, Sarah and Matteo exchanged "I dos" during a controversial secret wedding after six years of dating.

Sarah then shared how she's been looking forward to Christmas - which she said is her favorite time of the year.

"Kasi parang when it's Christmas time, everybody is loving, caring, generous. Parang iba eh. Pati 'yung hangin malamig. Siyempre, of course, good food. Enjoying good food with your family, with your loved ones."

At the end of the video, the two wished everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

"I know this year has been very, very different, very challenging. People have been going through ups and downs and a very big situation that has changed everybody's lives but I hope this Christmas, everybody finds that family time, those precious moments with your families to say 'I love you' and 'thank you,'" Matteo said.

Sarah also reminded netizens not to forget the true essence of Christmas which she said is spending the special day with their loved ones.

The couple has just move into a rented house with four bedrooms, a pool, and a garden last October.
