Pageant king Neil Perez caught in public outrage over shooting in Tarlac

Mister International 2014 now Police Staff Sergeant Neil Perez (Mariano Perez Flormata Jr.) took to Instagram on Monday, Dec. 21, to defend the Philippine National Police which is now the subject of criticisms from netizens following the involvement of a fellow policeman in the murder of two civilians in Tarlac last Sunday.
On Instagram Dec. 21, Neil uploaded an art card with a silhouette of a policeman with the caption "hindi kaming lahat ang pumatay sa kanya - uniporme at tsapa."
Apparently, it is Neil's way of reminding the public that not all police officers are bad. He is currently deployed at the Terminal 3 Police Station of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Paranaque City.

But his thoughts on the shooting incident did not sit well with some netizens, saying that his post was insensitive.
Some comments of the netizens:
"Hindi naman generalized para sa lahat ng pulis yung thoughts nang nakararami. Pero sana use your voice too on condemning the killings."
"Problem lang dito is parang feel nila naapi sila and unrecognized yung good deeds that other police do. We acknowledge those naman.
"Nakakalungkot lang na that there are comments defending the evil deed that was done. ☹ï¸"

"Nakakaloka yung andami pa nagtatanggol sa mga pulis oo gets nga natin na hindi lahat pero yung mga biktima hindi nila magawang kampihan napaka unhuman jusko"
"I'm sorry Neil pero itong mga post na to ang reason why wala ng accountability from your ranks. Acknowledge that there's brutality from the police force. Para may clear na cleansing sa inyo."
"But still, police brutality exists and you guys are not doing something about it. Insensitive ng post mo.. ?"
