The crew of the PAL check-in counter called the attention of NAIA Terminal 2 authorities and a medical team immediately responded.

The passenger said he is a resident of General Trias, Cavite and took his COVID-19 swab test at the Imus
health department as a requirement for boarding the flight.

The passenger said he arrived at NAIA Terminal 2 from Cavite at around 5 pm on Dec. 20, 2020, and waited for his flight to Butuan that was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21.

The passenger did not explain if he knew the results of his swab test or not, said airport authorities.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) contacted the local officials of General Trias, Cavite and the passenger was picked up by an ambulance for hospitalization.  Airport authorities said the PAL domestic flight was not affected.
