Bea Alonzo says she's 'always in love' with John Lloyd Cruz

Actress Bea Alonzo was recently put in a hot seat after she was asked by dermatologist-to-the-stars Aivee Teo about her love life. 

Alonzo was asked if there was a time she fell in love with longtime screen partner John Lloyd Cruz.

“Yes. I’m always in love with him. I feel like our partnership will never work if I was not in love with him. So nandu’n lagi ‘yun,” Alonzo said.

“I think I said this before du’n sa interview ko with G3 na ‘yung relationship namin, lahat na napagdaanan. We were friends, we were enemies, we were almost lovers. ‘Yung relationship namin nata-transcend niya ‘yung level of just romance. Now, he’s more than that to me. That’s the beauty of it.”

The 33-year-old actress also thinks that she's also "in love" with the idea of what they are.

"Parang hindi mo alam kung ano siya and I’m in love with the idea. I know that we have the same amount of respect and love for each other. That’s why it’s very special to me," she declared.

But will she ever fall for the 37-year-old actor?

Alonzo thinks falling in love with him is not even a question anymore because she's always in love with the guy.

“Hindi pa siya patay. I’m not closing my doors. Because sometimes, love is not enough. There’s more to having a relationship than just love.”

Alonzo was also asked about the current state of her heart.

“Actually natanong na ‘to sa Q&A sa vlog ko and then I said na right now parang I’m open to dating and also being happy. Na parang to me, life is too short," she started.

Then went on that if there’s anything she learned from this quarantine, from these things that have been happening, it is how she realized that life is short and that you have to be open to being happy.

“Parang dapat hindi ako mag-suffer. Parang if it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen. If it doesn’t happen, then I don’t even need to…” she said.

“I’m dating, okay. I’m dating,” then quipped: “And guys, if you’re interested, you can just comment down below. Leave your number. Char.”

Alonzo is being romantically linked to actor Dominic Roque.

Their recent social media posts together added fuel to the fire.
