Traveling soon? Here's a list of where to get your PCR test done

Pre-Covid, we would all be busy planning our family travels by now. But we have to face the fact that Covid-19 is here to stay for a little longer, so precautions have to be made, including that of taking the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test prior to your flight. Here are some of the laboratories you can get yourself tested and ready for that much-needed trip.

Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory
It is one of the accredited laboratories by the Department of Health. Located at the CBL Area Domestic Rd, Pasay, Metro Manila (near Park 'n Fly), it offers a wide range of services including PCR tests that start at P5,000. They can also do home service. For more details, visit this link.

Singapore Diagnostics 
One of the largest laboratories in the country, it continues to serve the requirements of over 300 institutions including hospitals and clinics. It also boasts of being the only College of American Pathologists accredited tertiary laboratory in the country. Their home service PCR test starts at P5,000. Hi-Precision Diagnostics 
Starting December 1, this laboratory dropped their PCR test fee from P5,000 to P4,400. This promotion will last until February 28, 2021. With over 20 branches to choose from and access to online results, this laboratory is for those who may have difficulty looking for a laboratory near them. For more details, visit this link.

New World Diagnostics
PCR test starts at P4,100 and they offer park-and-swab services for less contact. Their main office is located in Quezon City, but they have five other branches for you to choose from. This laboratory is also DOH-accredited. You may visit their site for more information.

Philippine Airlines offering
PAL ticket holders can avail of P500 off the P4,500 PCR test fee starting December 1, 2020. According to the site, testing can be done through drive-thru and walk-in at their testing facility, in partnership with DOH-accredited Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory. Available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., just present your ID, PAL ticket, and QR code indicating successful registration to the PAL PPHD (Passenger Profile and Health Declaration) form online.
