Netizens ask: Did Jeric Gonzales get Sheryl Cruz pregnant?

Rumors are flying that actress Sheryl Cruz is pregnant and on-screen partner Jeric Gonzales is reportedly the father of the baby!

"Nabuntis ka daw niyan sabi sa article sa fb," a netizen asked in the comment section of Cruz Instagram where the actress shared her photo with the hunk on Dec. 19.

Cruz and Gonzales, 28, engaged in steamy love scenes in the Kapuso afternoon series "Magkaagaw" which began in October 2019. The popular series was halted in March due to the pandemic but shooting resumed in November. It will be shown in 2021.

Some fans defended Cruz saying that the pregnancy rumor is fake news.

Hours after Cruz once again sparked pregnancy speculation, the 46-year-old star uploaded a video that showed her playing the hoola hoops during break for the lock-in taping of her Kapuso TV series in Clark, Pampanga.

"Caught some free time while on location in Clark, Pampanga," read the video caption of Cruz.

Fans of Cruz said that the hoola hoops video shared by the actress would finally dismiss rumors that she is having a baby.

"Magkaagaw" tells the story of a career-driven Veron (Sheryl Cruz) who was left by her husband Mario (Alfred Vargas) to be with another woman named Laura (Sunshine Dizon). What was supposed to be a new beginning for the two was short-lived as Veron’s revenge would lead to unfortunate circumstances.

Twenty-three years later, Laura’s daughter, Clarisse (Klea Pineda), lands a job as Veron’s assistant. As soon as the latter finds out about Clarisse and Laura’s filial relationship, she plots her revenge by engaging in a love affair with Jio (Jeric Gonzales) — her protégé’s husband.

Driven by malevolence from a failed past love, Magkaagaw tells the story of a legal wife who eventually becomes the person she hated the most — a mistress.
