Over 1.3M 4Ps beneficiaries in Mindanao to receive UCT grants from DSWD
Over 1.3 million Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Mindanao are expected to receive their Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) grants from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The department has already started releasing these grants in Mindanao, while 4Ps beneficiaries in Luzon and Visayas are expected to receive theirs this month.
The UCT grants of beneficiaries under the 4Ps regular conditional cash transfer program from Regions X, XI, and XII, as well as from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), were already credited to their cash card accounts on December 17.
The grants of 4Ps beneficiaries from Regions IX and Caraga, on the other hand, will be credited on December 21.
The DSWD further announced that the beneficiaries under the 4Ps modified conditional cash transfer program from Regions IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga, and BARMM will have their UCT grants credited on their accounts on December 21.
The DSWD explained that the UCT is a cash subsidy provided to qualified poor households and individuals in order to help them cope with the adverse economic impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
