Concert and theatre director Freddie Santos dies at 64


Freddie Santos, versatile director who is also known for composing OPM classics “Points of View,” and “Yakapin Mo Ako,” passed away this morning Dec. 17.

He was 64.

Santos also composed “Two Words,” the wedding song of Lea Salonga, along with Louie Ocampo.

Santos has written, designed and/or directed more than 400 pop, rock, and classical concerts totaling over 1,500 performances.

Among luminaries he has worked with include Regine Velasquez, Joey Albert, Gary Valenciano, Jamie Rivera, Janno Gibbs, and Ogie Alcasid, among others.
