Is Ynna Asistio referring to Jessy Mendiola in her recent post?

Many are puzzled with Ynna Asistio's most recent post, which talks about so many things including the "truth" and the price of an Amorsolo painting, among others.

It read in part: “You forced it out on her. You know that truth. You both know the truth. Speak the truth (all in capital letters)."

Note the daughter of actress Nadia Montenegro and the late former Caloocan City Mayor Macario “Boy” Asistio is among those behind Radiant Lux Jewelry.

The company was involved in controversy with Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano making public that their engagement ring came courtesy of Manila Diamond Studio but with Jessy's input.

None too soon, Radiant Lux Jewelry issued a statement, saying how “unfortunate” it is that a company would “insinuate” doing work for something they did not do.

“We are the original creators of the engagement ring of Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano,” they declared.

“In our opinion, taking credit for something they did not do is detrimental to the industry that has ring makers who put their heart and soul to their pieces. Such a post or announcement is very misleading and unethical,” they added, showing a video of a woman presenting the said ring to Luis.

Note Manila Diamond Studio already denied the accusation.

Meanwhile, Jessy vlogged about the whole brouhaha.

But the issue is now getting even bigger.

Ynna added: "..regardless if pieces are sponsored or commissioned, credit is still to be given to the creator.”

She even cited as example how an Amorsolo painting will always be by Amorsolo regardless if a buyer paid millions for it.

"Last: Design input/pegs do not make you a designer. Lalo na kung gagayahin mo lang from someone else," she stressed, using a huge sticker that read: "My opinion!!!"
