Dolphy's son, Edgar Quizon, passes away at 63

Former actor Edgar Quizon has succumbed to pneumonia. He was 63 years old.

His brother actor-director Eric Quizon confirmed the sad news on Instagram.

Eric's full post: 

"Farewell Kuya Edgar. May you find peace in heaven. Please hug Dad, Kuya Freddie, Kuya Rolly and Dino for me. You will be missed. We love you. Rest in peace my brother."

Friends from the entertainment industry expressed their sympathies to Eric and their whole family.

These include Bela Padilla, Wendell Ramos, Bing Loyzaga, among others.

Edgar is Dolphy's son with Engracita Dominguez.

His remains will be cremated at St. Peter's Chapel at Commonwealth Ave. Quezon City.
