P/$ rate closes at P48.05/$1

The peso closed  higher  at  P48.05  to the US dollar today   from  P48.07  last Friday.  

The weighted  average rate appreciated  to  P48.054   from P48.072. Total volume amounted to $358.8 million, according to the Bankers Association of the Philippines.
