Capt. Dorothy M. Tumulak said the raid led to the arrest of Marlyn M. Jimeno, 30, the alleged sex den operator.

The law enforcement operation was covered by a warrant to search, seize, and examine computer data seized issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 33 in Butuan City, the police official said.

Operatives confiscated three cellular phones, a laptop, and desktop computers, she added.

PRO-13 Director Brig. Gen. Romeo M. Caramat Jr. said a police officer acted as a poseur-customer to entrap Jimeno.

Caramat said Jimeno will face charges for violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended by the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012), and the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

“We remain relentless in our campaign against exploitation of women and children by going after those unscrupulous individuals who use minors as easy prey,” the police official said.
