NCT, ENHYPEN, GOT7 top weekly Hanteo music chart

K-pop boy bands NCT, ENHYPEN and GOT7 garnered the first three places on the weekly music chart.

Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the weekly album chart for the period Nov. 30 to Dec. 6. NCT’s “NCT 2020-Resonance, Pt. 2” Arrival version placed first with sales of 402,652 copies for the period, which is also the album’s first week sales.

Rookie boy band ENHYPEN made a strong showing on the chart, placing second with 280,873 copies sold for their debut album “Border: Day One,” which was released on Nov. 30. The figure is also the group’s first-week sales.

“Border: Day One” sold 229,991 copies on the first day on Nov. 30 and topped the daily album chart and became the third best-selling album for the month of November.

GOT7’s “Breath of Love: Last Piece,” released on Nov. 30, is in third place on the weekly chart with 270,670 copies sold, also their sales in the first week of release.

EXO member Kai’s debut solo album “Kai” ranked fourth with 251,919 copies sold in one week while BTS’ “BE (Deluxe Edition),” which had 2.27 million copies sold in the first week of release, is in fifth place with 30,349 copies.

Garnering sixth to 10th places on Hanteo’s weekly album chart are NCT’s “NCT 2020-Resonance, Pt. 1,” 25,264 copies sold; Stray Kids’ “IN,” 16,511; BoA’s “Better,” 7,722; Loona’s “12:00,” 6,224; P1Harmony’s “Disharmony: Stand Out,” 3,933.

The 11th to 20th places went to Treasure’s “The First Step: Chapter Three,” 3,112 copies; Woodz’s “Woops!,” 2,781; StayC’s “So Bad,” 2,658; AB6IX’s “Salute,” 2,614; BAE173’s Intersection: Spark,” 2,453; Kim Ximya’s “Dog,” 2,136; Drippin’s “Boyager,” 1,900; WEi’s “Identity: First Sight,” 1,715; BLACKPINK’s “The Album,” 1,670; and TWICE’s “Wide Eyes Open,” 1,552.
