No one was reported injured in the incident.

Around 9:50 a.m., an explosion jolted the New Bombay restaurant located at the ground floor of the Columns Building in Barangay San Antonio, Makati.

The explosion shattered the glass walls of the restaurant.

Reports said the explosion was solely caused by a leaking LPG (liquified petroleum gas) tank.

Policemen were the first responders in the scene and turned over the investigation to BFP personnel.

In January this year, also in Barangay San Antonio, a gas leak caused the explosion at a Chinese restaurant injuring four restaurant staff.
