'Patay na si Hesus' soon on Netflix


Dark comedy film "Patay na si Hesus" is coming to Netflix Dec. 20.

The film follows the story of Iyay (Jaclyn Jose), a food vendor and mother, who learns of the death of her estranged husband, Hesus. She decides to drive to Dumaguete from Cebu City to attend the funeral and forces her children Hubert (Vincent Viado), Judith Marie "Jude" (Chai Fonacier), and Jay (Meldeñez) to join her.

"Patay na si Hesus" first premiered at the QCinema International Film Festival in 2016 where it won Audience Choice award and Gender Sensitivity award.

The Cebuano film also bagged the Jury's Choice award at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
