Nograles appears in Eat Bulaga's 'Bawal Judgmental,' wins P40,000 for gov't's anti-hunger program
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles won P40,000 for the government's anti-hunger program after putting his observation and intuition skills to the test in the noontime Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment Saturday.

In the pre-taped episode of the country's longest-running noontime show, Nograles, who first danced to the tune of EXO's "Dynamite" before playing the game, said he will donate his winnings to the government's Zero Hunger Task Force he heads.
Nograles, however, did not play on his own. He was joined by comedienne Ai-Ai Delas Alas in picking the four correct answers among the seven guests. They had to look for four guests who have parents currently in jail.
In the first round, Nograles and Delas Alas had to rely on their first impression of the guests and pick the four correct ones, or else P5,000 will be deducted from his pot money of P50,000 for each incorrect answer.
Nograles's prize went down to P40,000 after the first round because he only guessed two of the four correct answers. He would have only lost P5,000 if he listened to Delas Alas's suggestion.
The Palace official was able to pick the following guests correctly:
1. A female guest in her early 20s whose parents were arrested in a drug raid in their house in 2016. She said both her parents were using and peddling illegal drugs.
2. A female guest whose father is in prison for life because of rape. She said her family continues to ask for forgiveness from the victim.
On the other hand, Nograles failed to pick the other two correct answer:
1. A male guest whose parents experienced life behind bars. His father is still in jail for drug charges. He said the police arrested his mother instead after they failed to arrest his father. His mother was released after eight years.
2. A male guest whose parents are both in jail for drug charges. His father has been in jail for four years and is already up for release while his mother has been in prison for three years.
Nograles vowed to help the last guest fetch his father from jail because he r had already served his sentence but cannot be released as no local official was willing to fetch him.
Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto said that the government's anti-hunger program is important because the parents of the guests probably took that path to escape hunger.
ROUND TWO
The second round of the game is more difficult as Nograles may lose P10,000 if he guesses incorrectly.
This time, he had to guess what two of the seven guests have in common. He was given the following options:
1. If the two are teachers or studying to become teachers.
2. If they currently have a full-time job.
3. If they were Dean's Listers.
4. If they were scholars.
Nograles went with the first option as recommended by Delas Alas. Their choice turned out to be correct.
Meanwhile, Delas Alas pledged to also donate to the Task Force Zero Hunger.
Nograles was not the first national government official to guest on Bawal Judgmental. In July, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat appeared and took home P30,000.
