In line with the celebration of its 157th founding anniversary, the Pasay city government is offering free shuttle rides starting Dec. 2 until Dec. 30.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the “Libreng Sakay” will start from SM MOA to SM Manila vice versa, passing through Pasay City Hall and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office.
Rubiano said the city government partnered with the Global Electric Transportation (GET) for the roll out of three electronic jeepneys (e-jeeps) for the “Libreng Sakay.” Each e-jeep can accommodate 15 passengers.
Aside from the free shuttle, the city government is also holding a virtual job fair participated in by five companies -- Bench, RC Cola, Meralco, Concentrix and Placer 8.
There are about 3,500 job vacancies waiting to be filled up.
