New Papal Nuncio to PH receives wooden image of Our Lady of Edsa
New Papal Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles John Brown has received a wooden image of the Our Lady of Edsa.

Edsa Shrine Rector Father Lari Abaco gave the welcome gift to the nuncio when he paid him a courtesy visit at the Apostolic Nunciature in Manila, Monday.
The Edsa Shrine shared pictures of the visit in their Facebook page on the same day.
Archbishop Brown arrived in Manila on Sunday.
CBCP vice president and Kalookan Bishop Pablo David together with Paranaque Bishop Jesse Mercado welcomed him at the airport.
According to David, the nuncio was welcomed by phone by CBCP President Davao Archbishop Valles.
"He looks forward to meeting with the Philippine Bishops virtually in our coming January Plenary Assembly by zoom," he said in an interview Sunday.
David said the nuncio will be formally presented to Malacañang after 14 days.
Pope Francis appointed Brown as Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines last September replacing Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, who now heads the Holy See’s Permanent Observer Mission in the United Nations in New York.
