SMART CLARK GIGA CITY--Despite playing two games in less than 24 hours, Paul Lee remained in lethal form.

Lee dropped 27 points spiked by four triples to go with four rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes of play to spark Magnolia's 102-92 victory over TNT on Wednesday night.

Come Thursday afternoon, the 31-year-old guard kept firing on all cylinders at the AUF Arena as he erupted for 29 points to power the Hotshots to their third straight victory for a 4-4 slate at the expense of the Terrafirma Dyip, 103-89.

The "Angas ng Tondo" posted an efficient 7-of-10 shooting from the field highlighted by five treys and went 10-of-11 from the free throw line while also tallying three rebounds and an assist in almost 29 minutes of action.

A quick, full recovery proved to be crucial in Lee's consistent effort in back-to-back games.

"I just focused on this game na lang and take a lot of rest. Pag-uwi ko last night talagang nagpa-treat lang ako then natulog ako agad," said Lee.

"I made sure na makapagpahinga ako at makabawi 'yung katawan ko," he added.

The three-time PBA champion admitted he had lack of sleep heading to the back end of their two straight outings. But that didn't pose any problem as the 2016 Commissioner's Cup Finals MVP went on to display another explosive offensive performance.

"Actually, nagising ako kanina mga 4:30 a.m. Pero hindi na 'ko nakatulog. Siguro sobrang excited sa laro," he quipped.

No one is happier than Magnolia coach Chito Victolero in seeing the stellar showings from Lee, whose offseason preparations have been working wonders for him in this hectic bubble schedule.

"Kita nyo naman, bumaba na 'yung timbang ni Paul, gumanda na 'yung katawan, konti na lang 'yung fats," said Victolero in jest.

"I'm very happy kasi bukod dun sa leadership ni Paul eh talagang pinaghandaan niya to' (bubble)."
