Jane de Leon to take flight as Darna in 2021

Looks like Jane de Leon will be able to strut her stuff as Darna after all.

Reports have it that de Leon is set to don the komiks heroine’s famous red two-piece for a planned TV series set to air early next year.

Supposedly, the “Darna” series will first be seen on ABS-CBN's streaming platform, iWantTFC.

There is also the possibility it will be shown on free TV via A2Z Channel 11.

ABS-CBN is yet to confirm the report as of this writing but many fans are already rejoicing.

Anyway, the actual movie version that has long been delayed due to numerous debacles is also reportedly pushing through next year with de Leon again playing the title role.

It isn't known if Jerrold Tarog would still be at the helm of the project.
