Crew member dies in motor banca mishap in Atimonan, Quezon
A crew member of a passenger motor banca died while 22 were rescued after their boat capsized in Atimonan, Quezon Monday afternoon.

The Philippine Coast Guard said in its initial report that the passenger boat Gesu de Bambino sank at around 12:30 p.m. of November 30 "due to engine trouble and strong waves."
The motor banca, operated by a certain Delia Cuerdo, was bound for Perez, Quezon and carried 17 passengers and six crew members.
One of the crew members died from drowning, the PCG said.
The passengers, meanwhile, were immediately brought to Alabat, Quezon for further assistance.Â
