WATCH: The hits of April 'Boy' Regino in video

In 1993, April "Boy" Regino blasted the music scene with the hit song "Sana'y Laging Magkapiling" (with the April Boys).

Since then, April Boy charted novelty songs until 2015. He also appeared on several movies. In 2014, he quit show business when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009.

When he became cancer-free, he suffered from a heart ailment. His health continued to suffer when he was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy, causing him to lose his sight on the left eye. On Nov. 29, 2020, it was announced that April Boy passed away.
