Proud mom VP Leni celebrates daughter passing medical board exam

Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday brimmed with pride for daughter Tricia Robredo who passed this month’s physician licensure examination.

“Doctor na si Tricia!” Robredo exclaimed, sharing the latest milestone in their family on her Facebook page.

Her post also showed the photo of her with her three daughters and Tricia’s name among the passers in the list.

Tricia, or Janine Patricia, is the second daughter of the vice president and the late interior secretary Jesse Robredo.

She graduated with a dual degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health in July.

“Our children’s achievements are always sweeter than our own. Congratulations, Trish. Thank you for making us proud many times over,” the vice president tweeted.

Tricia dedicated her achievement to the people who believed in her.

“Para sa lahat ng naniwala. Finally a licensed doctor,” she said in a Twitter post.

Tricia’s siblings also congratulated her for passing the medical board exam.

“Dra Tricia Robredo!! Congrats kapatid,” Jillian, the youngest of the Robredo sisters, said.

“Doc Patty!! My sister is now a doctor!!!! So proud. Love you,” Aika exclaimed.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3,538 out of 4,704 examiners passed this month’s physician licensure examination.
