New LPA east of Luzon to bring rains over Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon
A new low pressure area (LPA) has formed east of Luzon on Thursday that could bring rains over the eastern sections of Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

Although the LPA is less likely to become a tropical depression, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said those in Isabela, Cagayan, and Aurora may experience light to moderate to at times heavy rains associated with the weather disturbance.
The LPA was estimated around 350 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora before Thursday noon, and is forecast to move generally west-northwest towards Cagayan-Isabela-Aurora area.
"It may likely reach the said area by tonight (Nov. 26) or tomorrow morning (Nov. 27)," PAGASA said.
The weather bureau warned of possible flooding or flash floods and rain-induced landslides during heavy rainfall especially in areas that are highly susceptible to these hazards.
The public is urged to monitor local thunderstorm or rainfall advisories and heavy rainfall warnings, as well as general flood advisories and basin flood bulletins that may be issued regarding this weather disturbance.
PAGASA also advised the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to take precautionary measures.
