Manila to hold coffee and plant fair on Nov. 27


The Manila city government will be holding the first coffee and plant fair at the Kartilya ng Katipunan near the Manila City Hall on Friday.

The activity, dubbed "Kape't Luntian," will be held from Friday (November 27) to Monday (November 30).

Beans and brews from local coffee farmers, potted plants, and eco-friendly products will be among some of the products available in the fair. 

Kapetolyo by SGD Coffee and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) spearheaded the project.

Kape't Luntian is among the activities planned by the Manila city government to foster the Christmas spirit in the capital city even amid the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Some of its other planned activities include the "Paskuhan sa Maynila" bazaar to be held at Mehan Garden in Ermita, Manila and the Manila Restaurant Week food festival that will be held on December 5 to 20.

Dawn masses will also be held at the Kartilya ng Katipunan near the Manila City Hall starting 8 p.m. on December 15. It will be led by Quiapo Church officials.
