Just launched recently, this new show on air “Oh My Job!” (OMJ) hosted by former Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Arnell Ignacio, Tuesday Niu and Bea Binene has been the talk of the town for its noble advocacy of catering to the Filipino worker either here in the country or abroad.

In this time of global pandemic where work opportunities are scarce, OMJ which simultaneously airs on GMA News TV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo Saturdays from 1-2 p.m. encourages the retrenched workforce that there is hope for them and they just need to prepare as success and opportunities only come to those who are prepared.

The show last week had a surprise visit by Labor Secretary Silverstre Bello III who delivered various good news brought by previously-promoted Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) programs like TUPAD, CAMP and AKAP as part of the relief efforts for the victims of the typhoons that hit the country.

True to its promise, OMJ gave away jobs and a free bike through its staples H.O.T.S or “Hired on the Spot” and “Oh May Jolly”. Gab Bermudez of Gab Pigmentation hired an interviewee on the spot, Champs Calvin Marin. And last week was when the first recipient of the show’s weekly gift giveaway, a free bike and a helmet, was won by Rochel Cabanas from Rodriquez, Rizal. He was also redirected to Lalamove for an instant job offer to be a food courier.

This power tandem of three also featured what DOLE considers the most resilient jobs that are in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic to help our displaced workers to find another source of livelihood through the “Oh ISYU” segment. This weekend’s episode might just provide the answers to the questions you have been needing answers for.

Catch “Oh My Job!”, Saturdays at 1 to 2 PM aired simultaneously on GMA News TV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo.
