Marian Rivera confirms theater debut in 2021

Marian Rivera is not resting on her laurels as an actress as tries new things to enhance her craft. This time Marian is expected to rule the stage when she appears in the virtual adaptation of “Oedipus Rex.”

"“Ama, kapatid, at anak; katipan, kabiyak, at ina; pinaglangkap sa isang kahindik-hindik na kasalan! Lahat ng kadiri-diri sa tao, pinagsamut-samot sa isang kasalanan!” Salihan at saksihan ngayong Pebrero 2021!," wrote Marian as caption to her photo with the title of the play “Password: 03d1pu5_R3x.”

The project will be staged by Tanghalang Ateneo and will be made available to the public via Zoom.

This is not the first time that Marian's theatrical debut was made public. Few months ago, writer and director Katski Flores also shared the same news.
