Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa models for the Italian fashion house's local pre-fall 2020 social media campaign.

The mental health advocate and former beauty queen shares a photo of her on Instagram wearing the luxury brand's high-slit black dress with the iconic Versace Virtus bag, posing seductively on the floor. Yup, Verzosa on the floor! She made it official by captioning her post with, “so thrilled to be a part of Versace's pre-fall 2020 campaign.”

Last year, the Italian fashion house opened its inaugural store in Manila at The Shoppes inside Solaire Resort and Casino. From Milan to Manila, the boutique featured the brand’s Virtus collection that played on the letter V on its designs. Also in store, Versace Philippines made available the Icon collection bearing the house’s signature emblem—the gorgon Medusa.

“I think Filipinos are very drawn to logos. So the more iconic things they see, the more Versace ’90s icons they see, the more Medusas they see, the more they’ll be lured into it,” said brand manager of Versace Philippines Ella Fortun in a previous report by Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. “Versace has been around since Gianni founded it back in the ’80s. We felt like it’s time to bring in Versace here, at Solaire most especially. I think the crowd is ready for it.”
