Edgar Mortiz to work with John Lloyd Cruz on his comeback project?

Many are downright excited about a report that Edgar Mortiz is currently engaged in talks with John Lloyd Cruz over his much-talked about TV comeback project.

The actor has been scarce for some time, having decided to walk away from show business back in 2017.

Though he has done a cameo in "Culion," inasmuch as finish some commercials, many are still hoping John Lloyd would ultimately make a full-on comeback particularly on TV.

The possibility was scratched following ABS-CBN being denied a renewal of its franchise.

But talk about the same has been revived only a few days ago with Brightlight Productions owner and former congressman Albee Benitez sharing a photo of him with John Lloyd on Instagram.

"Better days ahead," wrote Albee in the caption, almost confirming the comeback.

Note Albee has been active of late producing shows for former ABS-CBN talents on TV5.

Since then, many are wondering what sort of project John Lloyd is eyeing.

Now that Edgar has revealed his ongoing talk with John Lloyd, many are assuming it would be a sit-com not unlike their last project together in ABS-CBN, "Home Sweetie Home," which was a hit.

Note, the same show allowed John Lloyd the chance to meet Ellen Adarna, the mother of his child, Elias Modesto.
