John Lloyd Cruz in talks with Brightlight Productions for possible return to showbiz

It's confirmed!

Actor John Lloyd Cruz is in talks with Brightlight Productions owned by former Congressman Albee Benitez for his possible return to show business.

This after Albee uploaded a photo of him and the actor on Instagram last Saturday night, Nov. 21. It was captioned: "Better days ahead."

TheÂ shared IG picture ended rumors that John Lloyd was earlier seen in the office of Brightlight Productions recently.

Albee is expected to make a formal announcement about John Lloyd joining his Brightlight Productions which has already produced several programs on TV5.

John Lloyd went on indefinite leave from ABS CBN and Star Magic in 2017.
The award-winning actor went public with his relationship with Ellen Adarna. They have a son Elias Modesto. Most of the time they stay in Cebu. But John Lloyd and Ellen have called it quits.

John Lloyd, 37, was last seen in the TV series "La Luna Sangre" in 2017. His last full-length movie project was "Finally Found Someone" opposite Sarah Geronimo also in 2017.
