The five-day seminar included discussions on identification of common illegal drugs brought into the country illegally and analysis of suspicious movement of goods.

Atty. Erastus Sandino Austria, Port of Davao district collector, said surveillance techniques will help keep the Bureau’s intelligence capability abreast with the present time.

“The conduct of this seminar reinforces the current knowledge of our Customs officers on illegal trading of drugs,” he said.

He added that the bureau will continue to invest on similar initiatives to prevent the entry of illegal drugs into the country.
