Willie Revillame sells another luxury car to help raise money for typhoon victims

"Tutok to Win" host Willie Revillame continued to send financial help to those affected by the typhoon as he sold another luxury car and gave P5 million for Marikina City and the Municipality of Rodriguez (formerly known as Montalban)

On Thursday, Nov. 19, upon completing his series of calls to his viewers, the Kapuso host dialed Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro to ask about the City's current state. Willie also talked to Rodriguez, Rizal Mayor Dennis Hernandez.

Upon hearing the current situation in Marikina City, Willie went on to share his story on how he realized a greater purpose for some of his belongings, leading him to sell a P12 million SUV and donating all the proceeds to those in need.

Wilie said: "Nabili ko 'yan mga P12 million (SUV) (noong) 2018. Ang sabi ko 'fast-break mo na to; kahit magkano na langâ€¦ ngayon kinuha ho, binili sa 'kin ng 7 milyon; aanhin ko 'yon? nasa garahe lang.

"Sa panahon na ito, hindi ko ho kailangan yung mga ganyang kotse; siguro ito na yung pagkakataon na makatulong ako sa mga kababayan natin uli," he added.

"Ako naman ho to, pera ko naman 'toâ€¦ ito naman eh pinaghirapan ko, na-ipon ko naman; yung P7 million ho, na ipinambili ng aking sasakyanâ€¦dadagdagan ko ho 'yon (ng kaunting na-ipon ko) magbibigay ho ako sa Montalban ng another 5 million, at another 5 million ho sa Marikina," he said.

"Sinasabi ko lang yung totoo, baka sabihin ng iba na nag-yayabang ako, hindi po totoo 'yan; aanhin ko yung magandang kotse kung marami akong kababayang naghihirap."

Revillame, 59, made the headlines last week for personally visiting and donating P5 million to Catanduanes.
