Water service interruptions in parts of Rizal Province on Nov. 23-24

At least six municipalities in Rizal Province will experience water service interruptions for nine hours as a result of the maintenance activity of Manila Water in its Cardona Water Treatment Plant in this town which will on the night of November 23, Monday.

Areas to experience water service interruption starting 9 p.m. on Monday (November 23) until 6 a.m. Tuesday (November 24) are:

·       Taytay: Muzon, San Juan, Dolores (EI Cruz)

·       Angono: San Isidro; San Roque; Sto. Niño; San Vicente; Kalayaan; San Pedro; Poblacion Ibaba; Poblacion Itaas; and Bagumbayan

·       Cardona: Calahan; Dalig; Looc; San Roque; Del Remedio; Iglesia; and Real

·       Binangonan: Pag-Asa; Tayuman; San Carlos; Tagpos; Bilibiran; Pantok; Palangoy; Darangan; Batingan; Calumpang; Libis; Layunan; Libid; Mahabang Parang; Lunsad; Pila-pila; Limbon-Limbon; Ithan; Tatala; Macamot; Mambog

·       Baras: Evangelista; Mabini; Concepcion; San Miguel; San Juan; San Jose; Rizal; San Salvador; and Santiago

·       Jalajala: 2nd District; 3rd District; Special District; Bagumbong; Bayugo; Lubo; Pagkalinawan; Palaypalay; and Punta

Meanwhile, six barangays in Rodriguez (Montalban) are now experiencing water service interruptions until 4 a.m. on November 21 due to the activities to counter the turbidity of the water entering the East Lamesa Treatment Plant of Manila Water as a result of the recent typhoons.

Waterless villages since 4 p.m. (November 20) are the following:

·       Entire Barangay San Isidro

·       San Jose: Montalban Heights Phase 1 and Phase 2; Amityville Phase 1 to 5; Vista Rio;  Jecmat; Sweet Haven; Suburban Phase 1A, 1L, 1L1, 1L2, 1F, 1LL; Metro Manila Hills Communities; Pamahay Village; Charm/Isla, MRV, NTA, Suburban Phase 1A and 1B

·       San Rafael: M. H. Del Pilar; Libis; Hillside; C. Reyes; A. Nicolas

·       Geronimo: M. H. Del Pilar; N. Valdez; J. Ramos

·       Balite: J. P. Rizal; M. H. Del Pilar; Catcho; Dike

·       Rosario: J. P. Rizal; A. Bonifacio; Libis; L. M. Santos; D. Marcelo; Omega Subd.; Ayuson; and Linco

The water service interruptions happened as many households in Rodriguez have yet to finish cleaning up their surroundings of the mud brought by the massive flooding that hit many parts of the town including neighboring San Mateo at the height of Typhoon “Ulysses.”
