WATCH: Iza Calzado cuts husband Ben Wintle's hair

Although many salons and barbershops are reopening and booked solid with appointments, it’s still safe to cut your own hair at home. 

In celebration of his husband’s recent birthday, actress Iza Calzado posted a video shaving Ben Wintle’s head. Iza Calzado improvised with a razor and as her husband turned to her for a haircut. 

“I’ve never cut anyone’s hair before except for my bangs when I was in second grade,” Calzado said in the video. Pro hairstylist Jing Monis walked the couple through the cut over a video call.

“I want to honor my husband who is compassionate, hardworking, creative, disciplined, strong, funny, and obviously good looking,” she said in an Instagram post. “This post is to remind you to never let me near your hair again.”
